3. Emerge’s Scholarships for Single Moms and Other Women
Who are they? Since 2001, Emerge has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to women. Because it believes in the positive ripple effect that this will have on society, its commitment to helping women get an education result from its belief. It is well-known that educated women have better chances of educating their families and contributing to the world. Emerge values women who give back to their families and communities to maximize their impact.
What they offer: The amount and the amount each woman is awarded a scholarship varies from year to year. There will be a few scholarships, each worth between US$2,000 and $5,000.
Scholarship eligibility. Women who live in Georgia, the United States, are passionate about their studies and give back to the community. A recent high school graduate is not eligible. You must be a nontraditional student. This could include someone returning to school after a career change, seeking education to return to work, or a mom looking to get back into the workforce.

Who are they: The University of the People is the first tuition-free online university accredited. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, information technology and service company, are now available. It develops technology to help its customers transform industries and make the planet a better place.
They offer 100 two-year scholarships.

5. Federal Student Aid Scholarship for Students Who Need Financial Support
Who are they? Federal Student Aid, an American department of education office. It invests more than $150 billion each year to ensure that over 13 million students receive higher education. It provides everything from scholarships to loans.
What they offer: The Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) provides scholarships of US$100-4,000 for undergraduate students in need of financial assistance.
Scholarship eligibility. Eligibility will be determined based on your financial situation. However, first, you must be a student in a higher education institution that is part of the FSEOG program. Check with your school’s financial assistance office to determine if you are eligible.

6. Scholarship for Women Engineers from the Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers offers scholarships for women interested in computer science or engineering. They offer scholarships that range from $1,000 to $16,000.
The society provides general scholarships to women but also funds for students who are not traditional and for women who want to return to the workforce.

Sophomores and graduate students: Applications are usually accepted between December & February
First-year student Applications are typically due between March and May.
7. Program for Women’s Independence
The Women’s Independence Scholarship Program provides scholarships for women who have suffered from intimate partner abuse. This program helps survivors regain their independence and self-sufficiency by providing education and employment.
Students with financial needs who are full- or part-time can be eligible. WISP’s primary purpose is to assist women who have been separated for less than one year from abusive partners.
You can submit your application via the WISP website. Applications are accepted regularly. The awards range in price from $1,000 to $6,000.
8. American Association of University Women
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) planned to give $5 million to more than 260 students in 2021-2022. As of writing, applications were still open for 2022-2023.
AAUW grants and fellowships have different eligibility requirements depending on which opportunity they are awarded. There were seven awards available in 2021. These included “Career Development Grants”, which are for women who want to pursue a certificate or degree to help them move or further their careers. Many opportunities have annual deadlines in November and December.
9. Free College Scholarships for Moms
Who are they? Free college scholarships are a private organization giving $10,000 scholarships over ten years. The total amount raised by the company is more than $1,000,000. These scholarships are funded by selling ad space on their educational-related websites.
They offer:$10,000 Scholarships are given several times per year.
Scholarship eligibility: Must have 18 years or older and be a US resident who has signed up for the company’s website.

10. Graduate Women International
Formerly The International Federation of University Women (IFUW), Graduate Women International is a useful resource for international students. There are affiliates in 60 countries around the world.
GWI’s fellowships for PhD students are open to all applicants. The December deadline was set in 2021. The affiliates of GWI offer financial assistance to women and girls pursuing anything from primary education to postgraduate research, training, and teaching.
International students can also check their eligibility for scholarships for women and college grants through a similar organization like Margaret McNamara Education Grants.
